I moved from SiteGround to eukhost for a client site. Since eukhost has UK data centers, the latency for UK visitors was better. SiteGround's UK servers are good, but eukhost felt a bit snappier for purely UK traffic.

If your audience is mostly in the UK, eukhost is probably the better bet for speed. SiteGround is good, but eukhost's infrastructure is more geared towards the UK market from what I understand.
